Job Description:
NURSING DUTIES
Supervise the work of NAs and PAs. Educate and Train as necessary.
Monitor resident Health, Grooming and Upkeep Daily and take action as necessary
Oversee and Audit storing, packing and administration of medicine
Attend to emergencies
Conduct regular medical emergency drills. Educate and Train NAs and PAs on handling emergencies.
Monthly audit of content of emergency bags and first aid boxes
Assist residents in bathing, diaper, change clinic appointment, where necessary.
Communicate with sponsors on resident care matters
Supervise OJT Training of Staff on ITE Healthcare Course
INFECTION CONTROL OFFICER
Document, Implement Infection Control policies and procedures.
Ongoing audit and enforcement of Infection Control policies.
Educate and train staff of Infection Control measures
Head Infection Control Team and communicate with public health agencies
Collect and analyse data on infectious diseases in the Home
FALLS PREVENTION
Devise plan for Fall Prevention measures
Educate staff and residents on Falls Prevention measure
Implement and audit Falls Prevention Measures
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
Prior experience working in tertiary hospitals
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Work in eldercare settings. Willing to walk extra miles to care for elderly. Patient with elderly, Passion to care, Ability to lead and train nurse aides.
Salary Range:
SGD 3400.00 - 3600.00
