A Christmas Tradition

Does your family have a 'yearly routine'?
For my family and myself, it is to rummage through our wardrobe, and set aside some clothes that we seldom wear, to be donated to charity.
This usually happens in late November or early December.

And when Christmas rolls around, my parents would bring us, and our unwanted but in-good-condition items, to the BB Sharity Gift Box opposite the now defunct Phoenix Hotel in Orchard Road.

After that, we would stroll along Orchard Road to bask in the festive atmosphere, and do some Christmas window-shopping.

The hotel and the big car park outside Somerset MRT are gone. But the spirit of Giving (through the BB Share-A-Gift) has withstood the test of time.

The Boys' Brigade Share-A-Gift is back. It has moved with the times, and this time round, it is reaching out to the 'Digital Natives' with its photo hashtag campaign.

For every photo hashtagged with #bbshareagift on Facebook or Instagram, NTUC FairPrice will donate S$5 to the project up to a total of S$75,000.

So hurry, it's time for that Selfie or Wefie!
