The Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) spread the festive cheer of the Moon Cake Festival by showing our Home how to make a hanging ornament.

The session was held virtually on 1 October. Craft kits and goodie-bags were delivered to our Home. After learning the techniques and methods, our staff taught our elderly residents how to make it for themselves. Twenty residents took part in the activitiy. All enjoyed the session and felt a sense of accomplishment in their finished work.

In this Pandemic period, thanks to CDAC’s initiative and our staff guiding the session, our elderly is able to celebrate this traditional festival in a comfortable and safe environment.

华社自助理事会 (CDAC) 借着中秋节的喜庆演示我们养老院如何制作吊饰工艺品。

指导会议在10月1日虚拟的举行。工艺套件和礼袋已早交付给我们养老院。在我们员工学习了技巧和方法之后，他们就教年长居民如何自制。 20位居民参加了活动并在完成的工作中觉得非常有成就感。

在这大流感时期，得益于CDAC以及我们的员工导师，年长居民们能够在舒适安全的环境中庆祝这传统节日。
